I love that quote, and if we measured our journey in friends, then we have traveled A LOT over the last year!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our family and friends we stayed with, spent time with, or visited us while on the road. We are extremely blessed that we were able to see, and in some cases meet for the first time, so many loved ones during our travels.
We were overwhelmed by your generosity, thrilled by your washing machines and comfortable beds, delighted by your home cooked meals, and overjoyed to see familiar faces, often when we needed it the most.
Some of our fondest memories of the trip were of meals with each of you, sharing stories and laughter. It was humbling to be on the receiving end of so much kindness. We truly hope we can return the favor and open our homes to each of you.
We knew we had a long list of people to show gratitude to over the last year, but it wasn’t until we started writing it down that it became overpowering to see how fortunate we are to have so many wonderful and supportive people in our lives scattered all over this small world of ours. Thank you to each and every one of you! You made our journey even more special!
